MyVisualRoutine for Android: Testing Is Now Live
We’re excited to share some big news: MyVisualRoutine is now available for testing on Android.
Since launching on iOS, one of the most frequent requests we’ve received from parents, therapists, and educators is: “When is the Android version coming?” Today, we’re one step closer. The Android app is live for testing, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
What’s included in the Android test
The Android version includes the same core features that families already rely on with the iOS app:
- Visual schedules — Build step-by-step routines your child can follow independently
- Choice boards — Give your child a voice by letting them choose between options
- First/Then boards — Motivate task completion with a simple “first this, then that” structure
- Day plans — Organize the full day with visual structure and predictability
- Offline support — Everything works without an internet connection
- Privacy-first — No tracking, no ads, your family’s data stays on your device
Why we need testers
Building an app that families depend on every day is a big responsibility. We want the Android version to be just as reliable and intuitive as the iOS app. That’s where you come in.
By testing the app early, you help us:
- Find bugs before the public release
- Identify usability issues specific to Android devices
- Prioritize features based on what real users need most
- Ensure compatibility across different Android phones and tablets
Your feedback directly shapes the final product. Every bug report, suggestion, and observation helps us build a better app for the entire community.
How to sign up
Getting started is simple. Sign up on our homepage with your email address, and we’ll send you a link to join the Android test. You’ll get access to the latest build and can start using it with your child right away.
Testing is free, and we’ll keep you updated as we roll out improvements based on your feedback.
What’s next
Our goal is to get the Android app ready for a full public launch as soon as possible. The more testers we have and the more feedback we receive, the faster we can get there. Once we’re confident in the stability and quality of the app, we’ll release it on the Google Play Store for everyone.
If you’ve been waiting for MyVisualRoutine on Android, this is your chance to get early access and help make it the best it can be.
